Are you a camper or a glamper? Do mind roughing it or do you need slightly upgraded accommodations?
I’m a glamper and Talula Mesa is just one of the many Texas Hill Country glamping experiences.
📍Marble Falls, Texas

Welcome to Talula Mesa! 15 acres of luxurious glamping overlooking Lake Travis. The floor to ceiling window wall is simply amazing and it gives you a great view of the lake. The back side of the tent has the traditional tent look. This one of a kind glamping is only 35 minutes outside of Austin, Texas. Talula Mesa features a glamping style hybrid cabin/tent (with AC) and it’s the ultimate getaway to socially distance in style. Talula Mesa has everything you need such as paddleboards, kayaks, noodles, life jackets, yard games, an outdoor movie station, fire pit, grill, refrigerator, coffee, hammocks, and more.

They have 3 grand tents and 1 mini tent. The grand tents have a king size bed and they also have a small queen size bed in the loft area above. In the tent there’s air conditioning, mini-fridge, coffee station (french press), 2 USB charging stations plus 2 outlets, propane fire place (winter only), electric blanket (winter only), and 1 hammock that can be hung either indoors or outdoors, or moved to other hammock stations around the property to enjoy the views and the breeze. Oh, and both the front and back porches are covered!

The bathroom is a shared bath house which includes 2 outdoor showers and sinks (hot water included), and 1 toilet. There are only 4 tents on the property and only 2 tents were occupied during my stay so there wasn’t any problem with waiting to use the facilities.
